His name was Scott. He was my friend, but in all fairness he seemed to be everybody’s friend judging by how he bursted in with a vigorous, audible and amplified embrace of seemingly everyone beyond the threshold of Guthrie’s, Sud’s, All American Tattoo & Photo…you name the place.
He was a leader and a powerful force who passed away in 2007 and his personality still echoes (ever louder) beyond the alleys of Bakersfield.
